Team of Ljubomir Vranjes had much easier task in Aarhus than in the first round in front of home fans against Telekom Veszprem (draw). The Danish champions Bjerringbro Silkeborg had no power to fight for success against strong team from the German-Danish border – 19:25 (10:12).
Thomas Mogensen netted five goals for the winners, while his ex-colleague from the national team, Nikolaj Markussen, had same score for the home squad.
