An interesting fact was announced during the PRESS conference in Belgrade about Women’s EHF EURO 2012 which will take place in Serbia from 4th till 16th of December. Since Netherlands cancelled hosting of this event, Serbian took oportunity to host the best handball nations once again after January and Men’s EHF EURO 2012, but in the small period of time, some problems existed:
– Under this circumstances,our wish was that Preliminary Group in Belgrade organise in hall “Pionir” as in Men’s tournament, but we faced with the Basketball EUROLEAGUE and their rules in the hall which is BC Partizan home. We had problem with the already organised schedule in the “Kombank” Arena also, but we have to be thanksfull to our music star Miroslav Ilic and famous band “Cranberries” who decided to postponed their concerts because of handball – said Secretary General of Serbian Handball Federation, Bozidar Djurkovic.
