Gisli Kristjansson becomes the 2nd player after Aron Pálmarsson (2014, 2016) to win the award twice. Even though he was highly questionable with a shoulder injury, the Superstar from Iceland led SC Magdeburg to its second major title in 3 years.
He was also the Final Four MVP two years ago.
