SEHA Gazprom League EAST with 9 teams in 2025/2026
The leadership of the East Division of the SEHA-Gazprom League has confirmed the participants for the 2025/26 season.
According to the league’s press service, nine clubs will compete in the tournament.
Group A: Zenit, Chekhovskie Medvedi, Meshkov Brest, SKA Minsk, Victor
Group B: Dinamo Astrakhan, Permskie Medvedi, Masheka, Minsk Regional Handball Club
A new tournament system has been introduced. As before, the teams are divided into two groups. However, Group A now includes the top-level teams. The teams that finish first and second in this group will advance directly to the Final Four.
Group B features teams that currently have lower competitive performance compared to Group A. These teams will play each other and have the opportunity to enter the playoffs, where they can compete with the top-ranked teams for a spot in the Final Four.
