Youth World Championship 2025 starts in Egypt

The 11th IHF Men’s Youth (U19) World Championship is being held in Egypt from 6 to 17 August 2025, featuring 32 teams and four venues across Cairo and the New Administrative Capital.

Preliminary Round Groups:

According to IHF sources and tournament coverage:

• Group 1 (Group A): Sweden, Portugal, Kuwait, Austria

• Group 2 (Group B): Hungary, Switzerland, Morocco, Kosovo

• Group 3 (Group C): Serbia, Spain, Croatia, Algeria

• Group 4 (Group D): Iceland, Brazil, Guinea, Saudi Arabia

• Group 5 (Group E): Germany, Slovenia, Uruguay, Faroe Islands

• Group 6 (Group F): Norway, France, Argentina, Mexico

• Group 7 (Group G): Egypt (host), Japan, South Korea, Bahrain

• Group 8 (Group H): Denmark, Tunisia, Czech Republic, United States
