HC Ohrid continue to shake up the transfer market – Shuichi Yoshida arrives from Nantes

HC Ohrid continue to shake up the handball transfer market. Shuichi Yoshida, the Japanese national team player, arrives from French side Nantes as GRK Ohrid’s sixth signing for the upcoming season.

Yoshida has signed a contract for the 2026/2027 season, with an option to extend the cooperation for another year. The 25-year-old is 193 cm tall and will wear the number 11 jersey in Ohrid.

“Hello Ohrid! Hello Ribari! I am Shuichi Yoshida, a Japanese national team player. I am extremely happy to wear the GRK Ohrid jersey and I can’t wait to play for this club and meet our fans! See you soon,” said Yoshida.

GRK Ohrid believe that Yoshida will be a major reinforcement for the team. He arrives after two seasons with French giants Nantes, where he played an important role in the French league and the Champions League. He previously played for Dunkerque in France and Azoty Tarnów in Poland.
