Argentina and Germany crowned world champions at IHF Beach Handball World Championship 2026

Argentina claimed the women’s world title at the IHF Beach Handball World Championship 2026 in Croatia, defeating Denmark after a shoot-out in the final. With this triumph, Argentina completed a historic “triple crown”, holding the World Championship, continental and World Games titles at the same time.
Spain took the bronze medal in the women’s competition after beating Brazil.
In the men’s competition, Germany defeated Brazil 2:0 in the final to also complete a remarkable triple crown — adding the world title to their European Championship and World Games crowns. Argentina won the bronze medal, beating hosts Croatia after a shoot-out.
