Karol Bielecki set for new role at Kielce?

Polish handball legend Karol Bielecki could return to Kielce in a completely new role. According to echodnia.eu, the former Poland international is expected to become the new president of Iskra Kielce.

The club’s owner, Świętokrzyska Grupa Przemysłowa Industria, reportedly approached Bielecki in recent weeks and, after several meetings, he agreed to take over the position.

The potential appointment comes amid major changes in the club’s management. Sporting director Michał Jurecki has already left, while board member Konrad Czajkowski departed after only three months. Paweł Papaj is expected to remain, with sports manager Jakub Malke also reportedly joining the new management structure.

Bielecki is one of the biggest names in Kielce’s history, having won seven Polish league titles and the EHF Champions League in 2016 with the club. Since retiring from professional handball, he has been active in business.
