One of the best world left wings in this decade, Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson (34) has signed two years contract with Spanish best team FC Barcelona. “Air Icelandic” is coming to Spain after two years in THW Kiel, where he achieved the first EHF CL final, but without success in the battle for the trophy.
He also played for VfL Gummersbach, Rhein Neckar Lowen and AG Copenhagen.
Valur will replace Juanin Garcia who left Barca after nine years and joined Naturhouse La Rioja.
