After it has been decided that Fuchse Berlin and THW Kiel are to play the first semi-final at the Koln final-four, Atletico Madrid president Luis Miguel Lopez came out with statement in which he was very unhappy with this decision. “We are the only team that is in the finals this year like the last, and they always give us the evening game. I think that this is not fair.” – explains Lopez.
Atletico Madrid won the Champions in 2006, 2008 and 2009, at those times known as Ciudad Real.
