Following some difficult funding challenges with the UK Sport decision to cut funding for the GB teams the BHA is now back on track with its Performance programmes.
We have recently appointed coaches to the teams preparing for W18 European Open in Sweden next year and the M19 programme for the same competition in 2015. We will shortly be appointing a coach for the M20 European Championship qualifiers in April next year.
These appointments form the player pathway to produce new senior squads. We are now looking to engage a Women’s senior coach with a view to entering the Euro 2016. As part of this build up they will prepare an U23 team for the EHF Challenge Trophy in March 2014.
