THW Kiel was convincing today at home against Goppingen as expected, winning with huge 36:25 (18:13). More interesting match was played in Lemgo, where the host team welcomed Magdeburg. With Magdeburg winning the first half 13:9, TBV Lemgo managed to fight back and even take narrow lead in the final 10 minutes of the match, however Magdeburg showed why they are the better team and despite some exclusions in the final minutes, they managed to win the game in the end with 28:26. Stefan Kneer and Robert Weber led the visitors scorer list with six and five goals respectively. Lemgo’s best was Finn Lemke, scoring nine goals.
