For the first time in their history, Cimos Koper have won the domestic championship. They have finally written
club history in the 2010/2011 season, by leaving Celje, Gorenje and the others behind. In the direct fight
for the title, they beat Gorenje in Velenje with 24:23, and have secured the title, as now they are with 55 points,
while Gorenje are with 51 points, which shows us how surprising can the Slovenian league be this year, with many
ups and downs for all the teams. We’re hoping for an even more interesting one next year!
