Croatia crush Iceland in “mad house” in Split

Strong second-half performance by Croatia in front of 11.000 frenetic fans at Spaladium Arena in Split, “produced” another impressive victory of home team – this time against Iceland 29:22 (14:13). Iceland leveled the score in 31st minute afterwards Ivan Stevanovic, Croatian goalkeeper together with his defensive mate, took the destiny of the match in his hands (7 saves in second half).

Croatia are the second team qualified fo the Main Round in Zagreb. The first one is Sweden, while the last will be decided in direct clash of Serbia and Iceland.
