Denmark beat Qatar 32:29 (14:16) in the last match of Preliminary Round in Paris. Nevertheless both teams knew their position at the end of Group stage, Qatari guys showed high motivation to take a big European scalp and they were on a good way until 40th minute and 21:17.
The Danish team switched attacking tactics to 7 on 6 and made turnover until the end led by Jesper Noddesbo as TOP scorer with eight goals and Niclas Kirkeløkke – 7. On the other side, Ali and Capote netted five each.
