The Spanish coach David Davis will have another assistant role in his biography. The first assistant of Raul Gonzales at RK Vardar Skopje, where both doing an amazing job which resulted with EHF Champions League trophy in Cologne last May, will help the new head-coach of the Russian national team – Eduard Koksharov.
Koksarov is sports director of RK Vardar and responsible for the women’s team, so it easy to guess that link was RK Vardar owner – Russian businessman Sergei Samsonenko.
David Davis led women’s team of Vardar as the first coach in season 2015/2016, where Macedonian champions ended third at Women’s EHF Final4 in Budapest.
Fitness coach of RK Vardar Danijel Jurjevic, will be also added to the coaching staff of Russian national team. Goalkeeper’s coach will be Igor Levshin.
