Dejan Peric left Veszprem and moved to Celje!

Legendary goalkeeper, Dejan Peric (41) signed two years contract with his former team, Celje Pivovarna Lasko, where he made the best part of his career from 1995 to 2004 – won the EHF Champions League (2004), played in five EHF CL semifinals and won eight national Championships (only one took Prule from Ljubljana). “Perke” wants to finish his career in Slovenia, after which he will stay to work in club’s Management.

After five seasons, MKB Veszprem, now, staying with Fazekas and Alilovic between the posts, while Peric will have duty to work with Slovenian potential stars, Skok (coming from Gorenje Velenje) and Lesjak.

Peric had 207 appearances for Yugoslavia (Serbia) and won bronze medal at the EURO 1996 in Spain. He won also the EHF Champions League with F.C Barcelona in 2005.
