Denmark and Netherlands going for medals!

The Netherlands and Denmark are at semi-final of the Women’s EHF EURO 2016 and they will clash for the place at the final! The Dutch girls had to beat Spain and they did it for the first ever EURO semi-final – 29:24 with 10 goals of Estavana Polman.

In Helsinborg, their way to the final weekend in Gothenburg found Danish girls by beating Romania 21:17. Anne Mette Hansen was in the role of “Christina Neagu” with nine goals, while Romanian handball princess had the worst evening on the tournament with 3 goals from 13 shots what affected play of the whole team. Danish goalie Sandra Toft was amazing, once again, with 15 saves.

Norway waiting for their rivals at the second semi-final. Germany beat Sweden 28:22 to secure third place and now wait Serbia to make a miracle and stop France.

Hungary played 26:26 with Russia.
