Denmark-Serbia final breaks “viewers” record in Denmark!

The greatest come-back in handball history, the second gold at the European Championships, was followed by the highest numbers of viewers in Hansen’s and Wilbek’s home country. The final match against Serbia was watched by 2,65 million viewers in Denmark, whose population is 5,5 million.

The most viewed game before this game was the quarter-final game at the EURO 2004 in Soccer/Football, between Denmark and the Czech Republic. (2,274 mil.)

Winning the gold in Norway 2008 was watched by 2,05 viewers on the Danish TV2.
