DHB to award gold medal with 400.000 EUR

German Handball Federation (DHB) has announced the level of prizes for the placement at IHF World Handball Championship 2023 in Poland and Sweden.
Team who began journey with win over Qatar 31:27 in group with Algeria and Serbia, will receive 400.000 EUR if take the gold medal at the end in Stockholm.
Silver medal worth 300.000 EUR, bronze is 200.000 EUR, while fourth place will be awarded with 100.000 EUR.
The 8th place which gives the chance to play in Olympic qualification will be awarded with 40.000 EUR.
