Dino Slavic to join HC Ohrid!

HC Ohrid are laying the foundations for a team that will be able to fight for trophies in Macedonian handball in the years to come.

From the summer of 2026, Croatian national team goalkeeper Dino Slavić will join head coach Boris Rojević’s squad, Balkan-Handball.com has learned.

The keeper, who is close to securing a place in the Croatian team that will compete at the EHF EURO 2026, has reached an agreement with the third-placed side in the Macedonian championship until the summer of 2028.

The experienced 34-year-old is currently in his third season with Limoges in France, having previously gained EHF Champions League experience with RK Zagreb.

Slavić began his international career in 2018, playing for Ademar León, a move that proved to be a major stepping stone.

In Croatia, he also played for Zamet and Umag.

Ohrid already have another Croatian international in their ranks — Ante Ivanković, who arrived last summer from Stuttgart and, in a short period of time, has become one of the key pillars of the team from the “Biljanini Izvori” arena.
