Domagoj Duvnjak praised his team-mate Sander Sagosen calling him “the best player in the world”. The THW Kiel captain talked with Zika Bogdanovic in Balkan-Handball.com podcast:
“He is satisfied in Kiel, definitely. It is always difficult to come into a new team, new league, new language and culture. He had a problem with injury, which stopped him a bit, but he is fantastic player. It’s never easy to any player to change the club, but he is playing very good. Maybe you don’t see goals, but when you take into account all handball elements. My opinion is still that he is the world’s best handball player. After few months with him on training and matches I can say it even more convincingly. This is his era, but also future”, said Duvnjak.
