Dominik Klein opted out to continue his career at the north-german team THW Kiel. The contract was running out in 2014, and both parties agreed to extend it for two more years, with the new one expiring on 30th of June 2014. Both team manager Klaus Elwardt and head coach Alfred Gislason expressed that they’re delighted to have Klein stay two more years.
