Dominik Kuzmanovic signs 5-years deal with SC Magdeburg

The best club in the world right now, Germany’s Magdeburg, have officially announced the arrival of Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Kuzmanović.
The Gummersbach shot-stopper will wear the “GETEC Arena” club’s jersey from the summer, where he will also be joined by his national-team teammate Matej Mandić.
The Croatian duo will take on the big task of replacing the Hernández–Portner partnership, which has brought a host of trophies to coach Bennet Wiegert’s side over the past four seasons.
Bennet Wiegert, SCM head coach and managing director for sport:
“By signing Kuzma, we are getting a young, talented goalkeeper who has been on our list for a long time. I’m confident that, together with Matej Mandić, he will help us achieve our goals with SC Magdeburg. The two complement each other very well technically and function excellently as a duo. In addition, Kuzma immediately convinced me as a person. I’m looking forward to working with him in the years ahead.”
Dominik Kuzmanović:
“It is a great honor for me to become part of the SCM family. Moving to Magdeburg is an important turning point for me, which I approach with great motivation, big ambitions, and a clear goal to keep developing and to give everything for the team. I am aware of the tradition, ambitions, and passion that define this club. That’s why I’m very excited about the new season and the challenges ahead of us. I’m convinced that together we will experience many special moments and write some great stories.”
