EHF CL 24/25 place distribution: Belarus and Norway IN, Balkan countries OUT!
The European Handball Federation published annual list of place distribution for the European Cups in season 2024/2025. The list is based on the results of respective clubs in three previous seasons. The biggest changes are in Men’s competition, where two countries got the right to be represented by their champions directly – Belarus and Norway. On the other side, Slovenia and North Macedonia failed out TOP 9 countries which has direct place in the European elite competition.
Nine national champions and best nation in EHF European League (Germany) alongside six wild-card winners consist EHF Champions League 2024/2025. However, it will be interesting to see what will happen in sanctions towards Belarus extend and will EHF gave 10th country chance to have team (Ukraine) or it will be used as 7th wild-card.
