EHF EURO 2020 DAY 2: Hungarian blamage, Croatia win after six years!

Croatia made a huge surprise at the start of the Women’s EHF EURO 2020 by beating Hungary 24:22 (12:12) in the opener of Group C in Kolding.

The team of Nenad Sostaric celebrated the first victory after six years at big events (the last was at the end of Preliminary Round at EHF EURO 2014 at home against Netherlands 31:27). Hungarian girls who were total favorites had the last lead in 47th minute (19:18) but then couldn’t score for 11 minutes which put Croatia ahead with 5:0 series.
