EHF EURO 2026: Six teams for 3 semi-final spots!

Denmark are the only confirmed semi-finalists ahead of the final round of the EHF EURO 2026 main round.

As many as six teams are still in the race for the last three places in the semi-finals: in Herning, Germany and France, while in Malmö, Sweden, Croatia, Slovenia and Iceland all still have their own calculations.

If we also include the battle for 5th/6th place — i.e. finishing third in the main round group — every remaining team in Herning still has something to play for, while only Hungary and Switzerland are out of that picture.
