The Women’s Handball World Championship will take place from Saturday, November 30, and will be held in the Japanese province of Kumamoto. In addition to the world title, potential participation at the Olympic Games is also at stake.
In total, 24 countries compete with each other. First there are two group phases and then the semifinals and the grand finals. Favourites are Russia, Norway and reigning European champions France. The Dutch ladies are among the serious outsiders.
