The size of Czech Republic disaster in the first match of the World Champioship 2015 Play-Off against Serbia 23:15 (13:6) becoming even bigger after the biggest star of the team, Filip Jicha got red card after short brawl with Serbian line-player Bojan Beljanski in 52nd minute of the match in “Cair” hall, where 3.000 fans celebrated Serbian victory. Players remained to clinch after duel in which Beljanski made foul on Jicha.
The World Best Player 2011 (IHF) and 2012 (Handball-Planet), who spent only few minutes in the attacking formation of his NT due injury, was more useful in defensive line as the first in 5-1 system.
Both players will be probably sanctioned by one match ban, so Jicha won’t be able to help his compatriots in the second match in Brno next Saturday. Czech Republic is close to lost the third Play-Off clash against Serbia in a row…
