FRANCE 2017: Lazarov unattainable at the TOP?

Kiril Lazarov could win the title of TOP scorer of the IHF World Championship 2017 even with three matches less than some of the players! The Macedonian handball king, record holder with 92 goals on WCh 2009 in Croatia, ended competition on 50 goals with eighth-final loss against Norway.

The closest contenders who are still in competition, Norwegians Sander Sagosen and Kristian Bjornsen netted 36 goals each and need very efficient last two matches to overcome FC Barcelona Lassa star.

Croatian playmaker Luka Cindric and Norwegian line-player Bjarte Myrhol netted 32, best Slovenian scorer is Gasper Marguc with 31, while first French is Kentin Mahe with 28.
