France and Sweden 1:2 for the Final fourth January in a row!

France and Sweden have been fighting battles at major competitions regularly since Glenn Solberg “launched” the “three crowns” back to the very top right next to the “tricolors” and the incredible Danes. Thus, in the past three major competitions, with the exception of the Olympic tournament in Tokyo, where the Swedes did not reach the finals, a duel between two superpowers was seen in the semi-finals.
In Cairo in 2021, at the World Championship, Sweden “blew away” the French 32:26, only to later lose the final to Denmark. A year later in Budapest at the EHF EURO 2022, the Swedes, on their way to the crown in the final against Spain, were again better than the France 34:33, only for revenge to fall where it hurts the most, in Stockholm at the TELE2 Arena, when the French celebrated on WC 2023 last January 31:26, but were later defeated by the Danes in the final.

The last time France and Sweden played for a title in London was in the final of the Olympic tournament in 2012. Karabatić and friends celebrated – 22:21.

SEMI-FINALS OF FRANCE AND SWEDEN:
World Championship 2023 France Sweden 31:26
European Championship 2022 France Sweden 33:34
World Championship 2021 France Sweden 26:32
