Wunderkind of world of handball, Francisco Costa, was the goalscorer leader of his national team in the first win at EHF EURO 2024 in Germany. Portugal beat Greece 31:24 (18:14) after small problems in the middle of the second half where Greeks came on 21:20, with 18-years old lefthander in the main role with six goals.

“Perfect match for us. We need to beat Czech Republic for the Main Round and I am looking forward for it. We don’t think too far away, only focusing on the next match”, said Costa.
