The draw ceremony for the 37th edition of the prestigious GCC Club Handball Championship 2017 was conducted at the Conference Hall of Duhail sport arena on Friday.
Mohammed Jaber, the Qatar Handball Association (QHA) Secretary General , Jassim Al Mansouri, the Director General of Al Gharafa SC and Hamad Musfer Al Noaimi, the QHA board member attended the draw ceremony.
As per the draw result, the group A includes Al Gharafa (Qatar), Al Ahli (Bahrain), Sharjah (UAE) and Asian champions Al Noor of KSA, while defending champions, Al Rayyan were pooled in group B along with Barbar ( Bahrain) and Muscat (Oman).
