Germany without Mimi Kraus to Qatar 2015!

German NT head-coach Dagur Sigurdsson announced the squad list for the upcoming 2015 World Championship in Qatar. The most interesting thing about it, is that, for a long period the leader of German attack, Michael Kraus, isn’t on the list. A 31 years-old playmaker of Frisch Auf Goppingen didn’t convince Icelander to put him on the list of possible travelers to Doha, where WCh starts on 15 January. Instead of him, on the list are Martin Strobel and TIm Kneule.

Here is Sigurdsson’s choice:

Goalkeepers: Silvio Heinevetter (Füchse Berlin), Carsten Lichtlein (VfL Gummersbach), Andreas Wolff (HSG Wetzlar).

Left wings: Uwe Gensheimer (Rhein-Neckar Löwen), Matthias Musche (SC Magdeburg).

Left backs: Paul Drux (Füchse Berlin),Stefan Kneer (Rhein-Neckar Löwen), Finn Lemke (TBV Lemgo).

Playmakers: Martin Strobel (HBW Balingen-Weilstetten), Tim Kneule (Frisch Auf Göppingen).

Right backs: Steffen Weinhold (THW Kiel), Michael Müller (MT Melsungen), Jens Schöngarth (TuS N-Lübbecke)

Right wings: Patrick Groetzki (Rhein-Neckar Löwen), Johannes Sellin (MT Melsungen).

Line players: Patrick Wiencek (THW Kiel), Hendrik Pekeler (TBV Lemgo), Erik Schmidt (TSG Ludwigshafen-Friesenheim), Jacob Heinl (SG Flensburg-Handewitt)
