After surgery on his knee, handball fans in Germany thought that the first choice of the national coach, Heiner Brandt for the right back position, Holger Glandorf is still “off” the court, but he believe that will be ready for the World Championship in Sweden (start – 14th January):
– I don’t feel any kind of pain in my knee. Until now, I didn’t had any problems and hope that will be like that in Sweden.
After friendly matches with Sweden (4th January) and Iceland (8th and 9th), Brandt will decided a squad for the WC 2011. Glandorf is still in the game. Germany plays in very tough group with Spain, France, Tunisia, Egypt and Bahrein.
