GREEK LEAGUE (ROUND 12): AEK at the Top with scoring record

After the end of 12th week in A1 Andron Greek Championship, AEK is still located at the top. Greek champions has 23 points with 11 wins and 1 draw and it is the only team without lost. In the last game against Arhelaos Katerini AEK won 49-18, carry out a new record scoring. The big favorite AEK achieved the most goals in the history of team, after 266 official games since 2005, when established.

The difference of 31 goals between two teams is the new record in Greek League. The 49 goals was the 2nd best record in history of Greek Championship, after 51 goals scored by PAOK in the game against Apollon Kalamaria in 2009.

Diomidis Argos with 22 points (11 wins) is in the 2nd place.

Challenge Cup Winners in 2012 is the only one team except AEK which can claim the titles of Greek handball in current season. Last but not least, the biggest surprise of the week was the win of Aeropos Edessa which beat 22-21 Doukas.
