Less than four months left from the opening ceremony of the 4th edition of Danaon Cup, the international youth tournament hosted by Diomidis HC. Using as a guide the success of the previous competitions and adding new surprising activities in this year’s agenda, the organizing committee of Danaon Cup has been engaged in a daily struggle in order to deliver a more competitive and enjoyable tournament that will entirely fulfill the expectations of the participating teams. Danaon Cup 2016 will open its doors in Argolis on Monday, June 20 and will end on Saturday, June 25, aspiring to promote our favorite sport and enhance the international relationships between young people via handball. The number of participants increases year by year and a new record is expected to be achieved in the forthcoming event.
Here is the triptych of our success: Culture, fun and a lot of handball, those principles comprise the backbone of Danaon Cup. The “Land of Myth”, as Argolis known worldwide, with its tremendous history (i.e. Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplio, Argos etc.) and outstanding natural beauty (i.e. its beaches are among the most famous in Greece), promises to our guests an unforgettable experience. We would like to officially invite the handball friends from all over the world to try Danaon Cup 2016, we are pretty sure that they will fully enjoy it. It would be a great pleasure for us to welcome them in Argolis, in the place where history and leisure meet handball!
