HBC Nantes to sign Japanese line-player Yoshida

HBC Nantes is about to finalize its recruitment for the 2024/2025 season with the arrival of a new pivot from US Dunkerque.

The 23-years old Shuichi Yoshida should join one of the best French teams to make trio with Théo Monar and Matej Gaber next season.

Yoshida came to Europea as 19-years old and join Polish Azoty Pulawy, where he played until 2023. He is coming from US Dunkerque. Shuichi is member of Japanese national team. He was voted for the best line-player of the Asian Championship 2024.

Yoshida expressed his satisfaction at joining HBC Nantes:

”I am very happy to sign for HBC Nantes. The “H” is for me one of the best clubs in the world. The H Arena is always full, the Nantes supporters are incredible… I’m really looking forward to playing in the purple jersey, continuing to progress and meeting the fans!”
