The President of the Hungarian Handball Federation (MKSZ), Vetési Iván, has announced that he asked the Federation Refereeing Subcommittee to investigate the match between MKB Veszprem and THW Kiel and share their point of view, which ended with narrow THW Kiel win which saw them going to the F4 in Cologne. The players of MKB Veszprem, as well as numerous journalists and the fans as well, have heavily criticized the match between MKB Veszprem and THW Kiel, saying that the Danish referees were largely in favour of THW Kiel. Nandor Fazekas called the referees to be unfair to the Hungarian side, while Laszlo Nagy named the whole match on his twitter page as “Scandal EHF”.

That is right however it doesn’t worth tinkering with the referees and announcements. If you want to beat a german club nowadays in europe you have to be more then just good but overmuch better. Especially if your country’s economy is highly dependent on the German…
