Hungary beat Slovenia to make biggest success in EURO history

In the first match of the final weekend at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Hungary beat Slovenia 23:22 for the fifth place.

This match was historical for Hungarians, as they made the biggest success in the history of playing at EHF EURO events.

The best result until now was 6th place at EHF EURO 1998 in Italy.
