Hungary wants to join SEHA – Veszprem IN, PICK Szeged still thinking!

SEHA GAZPROM South Stream League got a new country in the project – Hungary. Hungarian Federation are ready to cooperate with the SEHA officials in order to find solution in which two best teams will play in regional league from the next season. MVM MKB Veszprem have already reached some agreement with SEHA office and want to join League which won RK Vardar Skopje this season, but decision of PICK Szeged is still unknown.

SEHA GSS has currently 10 teams. SEHA president Mihajlo Mihajlovski announced in April that League could have 12 teams from the next season. Slovenian best teams also want to join SEHA, but Celje PL and Gorenje don’t want to pay 150.000 EUR each for the “ticket” for the league. Are they will be replaced by Hungarian teams or both countries will have teams inside, decision will be made by SEHA board on June 15.
