Igor Vori‘s statement to the German BILD that he is retiring from the national team caused lots of media interest everywhere, especially in Croatia. Firstly, Zoran Gobac said that his statement has been misinterpreted, and that it means that he is missing the World Championship in Spain only and that he is to play after that one. This has been now also confirmed by the HSV giant, who said that “I am tired, I just want to rest a little. I do not retire from the national team, I just won’t be there for the team in Spain and that is”.
