The IHF is proud to announce negotiations with Lagardère Sports and Entertainment as new global media distribution partner for the IHF senior events from 2019 to 2025 (a decision which was taken unanimously by the IHF Council) after the contract with the sports media agency MP & Silva has been terminated due to financial difficulties on MP & Silva’s part.
The partnership would include the exclusive worldwide media rights distribution for all indoor Senior World Championships from 2019 to 2025, as well as broadcast production of these events. As part of the production Lagardère Sports and Entertainment would manage content creation including highlights and feature programming to help increase fan engagement and reach. Lagardère Sports and Entertainment would also act as a strategic consultant to the Federation to assist in growing its global presence over the next two Olympic cycles.
