During the 125th Session of the International Olympic Committe, the President of the Internacional Handball Federation, Hassan Moustafa, said that Brazil could organize two World Championships in 2015 as part of a paying plan to finish the debt that de Brazilian Handball Federation has with the IHF.
Those tournaments are:
– Men’s Junior World Championship
– Mens’s and Women’s Beach World Championships
This plan is accepted by the Continental Federations and there’s only one thing to expect: that the plan is voted in the IHF Congress this October.
The IHF’s idea is that all the money that those tournaments can get will go to pay the debt in addition to a paying strategy that will en the Brazilian debt. This has been talked between Moustafa and Manoel Luiz Oliveira -President of the CBHb- in Basel, Switzerland.
