This supposed to be an excelent season for Arpad Sterbik with a “new” team, Atletico Madrid and Spanish NT with EHF EURO 2012 and Olympic Games in London, but one of the best goalkeeper ever, can’t find a rhytm because of injury. He missed the EHF EURO 2012 in Serbia because a surgery after the problem with heart. Now, he will miss TOP 16 phase in the EFH Champions League, “Kings Cup” and maybe even a Olympic Qualification torunament in Alicante with the NT, because of knee (meniscus) injury.
Sterbik will be operated today and the minimal period of rest is one month.
