Jordi Ribera to extend golden Spanish era until 2028
The golden era of Spanish handball with Jordi Ribera on helm will continue until 2028.
The Spanish Handball Federation announced that successful coach decided to stay as a leader of Spanish handball doctrine until Los Angeles 2028.
Ribera overtook Spanish bench in 2016 after Rio Olympics where he led Brazilian national team. With his approach in senior team, but also in youth categories, he made the most successful era of Spanish handball in the history.
Senior team won two gold EHF EURO 2018 and 2020 events with many other medals, while the last success has been seen with youth generation 2004 who are reigning European and World championship.
Commitment and passion of Jordi Ribera is recognized all over the world. His attention to come back to club’s handball will be put off for at least four years.
