HC Metalurg held press-conference today ahead of the game Sunday (18:00) against Vive Kielce, which will be played in sold-out hall. At the press-conference spoke Lino Cervar and pivot Vanco Dimovski.
“Kielce is the best Polish club, team with many internationals and many good home players. They don’t hide it that they are ambitious and that they desire to play at the F4 in Koln. They have five Croatian internationals as well, goalkeeper Losert, back Buntic, pivot Musa and wings Strlek and Cupic. Their defeat against Wisla Plock can be no measure for their strength, and can be considered small relaxation ahead of the Skopje trip. Their strongest play is the transition through the wings Strlek and Cupic, which means that they are ready to punish every our error. We have to be very patient in the attack, with least possible technical errors, and naive are not allowed at all in game of this rank. The opponent is strong and we’ll surely need support from the stands in order to defeat them” – concluded Cervar at the press-conference.
“Rarely some team has players in their team that have won so many trophies with their clubs and national teams. They won all games so far this season, except the last one, the defeat against Wisla Plock. We know Kielce’s strong points and we’ll try to stop them. As hosts, we are the slight favorites in this match, and we’ll try to play our best. We want to continue the winning streak.” – added Dimovski.
Naumce Mojsovski questionable
At the press-conference was revealed that Naumce Mojsovski will definitely not be 100% fit for the game on Sunday. This means, according to the club, that he will either miss the game fully, or if he plays – his playing time will be limited, which means a great blow to Metalurg’s chances in this match.
