Ljubomir Vranjes about “6 on 5” against Egypt: I would do the same again

Slovenia lost 15:11 advantage in 90 seconds of 6 on 5 play in crucial clash with Egypt for the IHF World Championship 2021 quarter-final. At the end, Slovenia played 25:25 and that wasn’t enough for team of Ljubomir Vranjes to qualify for TOP 8. Despite 0:3 on empty net in the moment of +4 lead, Slovenian NT coach Ljubomir Vranjes doesn’t think that was a mistake:

We had these kinds of situations in previous matches, these 3-4 minutes, and it was good. We have the same idea, we had player less, they had, we wanted to play 6 on 5. I would repeat it again in same situation. I want to play 6 on 5. I have learned something for the future, but I would play again as every coach – said Vranjes.
