Logi Geirsson ends career!

The Icelandic international and for long time Lemgo player, Logi Geirsson (29), decided to end his career, after lots of injuries that followed him in the past few years. Geirsson was among the standard players of the Icelandic national team, and won the Silver at the Olympic games in Beijing and Euro2010 in Austria. However, a heavy shoulder injury, made him go into early retirement. He went last year from Germany to the Icelandic Hafnarfjordur where he won the league, but he could no longer play on the professional level, and thus decided to end his career.

First of all, Logi Geirsson ended his career due to an unfixable right shoulder due to a motorbike accident, he was one of the best on the national team and one of the best in the WORLD.

He COULD play on a professional level BEFORE his accident, but he was just recovering AGAIN from an injury.
