Magdeburg is doing quite well this season, being on the 6th position, right behind the realistically strongest teams in the league, but they decided that by early strengthening of the squad and securing good players for the season after the next, they could be challenging for the higher players. The signing that will join the team in 2013, is Marko Bezjak, Slovenian national team player and playmaker of Gorenje Velenje, and at the same time captain of the club. He has signed two-year contract, which means it is to expire in 2015.
His future club announced that there is possibility that the player joins the club already at the end of this season, as both – the player and his future team want that, and this shall be discussed with Gorenje.
